At Coker College, the residential experience is a big part of your story. It’s about so much more than the place where you sleep at night – what we all desire is a place to feel welcomed, cared for, and supported. It’s about finding a community to take part in and call home. Coker Residence Life strives to provide a safe community for students to learn about themselves and what it means to build meaningful relationships with others, strengthening their connection to the greater Coker community.





This summer, Summer 2018, students will have a unique opportunity to live you on campus at no cost while attending classes (online or in seat). This is an opportunity to catch up or get ahead on your academic plan. 

The Coker College Residence Halls will remain open through July 31, 2018 for students enrolled in at least three credit hours. May Interim is May 21st through June 1st. Summer Term is May 21st through July 18th. The cost for housing is $175 per week. Students who want to live in Summer Housing must complete the Summer Housing Application & Contract

If you would like to apply for a housing scholarship (100% of cost covered), please be sure to indicate your interest on the Summer Housing Application & Contract. In order to qualify, you must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours. Once enrolled in 3 credit hours, you are required to have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher OR attend the Student Success Seminar class (date, time, and location to be determined). This seminar may be a combination of online, in-seat, or off-campus experiences. Students will meet at least 5 hours each week on topics that will be tailored to meet student needs. Examples of topics covered are time management, stress management, test taking skills, conflict resolution, team dynamics for the classroom and work place, etc.

Once your registration is verified (after registration week) we will send you a confirmation email outlining your Summer housing options. If you are approved to stay on campus, you may pay at the door in the dining hall, allowing you to pay only for the meals you want.
