Merit-Based Scholarships

Academic Scholarships are provided through generous gifts to Coker University. The scholarships are provided to students for scholarly achievement, leadership, and need-based assistance. These scholarships are awarded at the time of acceptance to the college and no additional application is needed.

TRUSTEE’S SCHOLARSHIP

The Trustee’s Scholarship is awarded based on SAT or ACT scores and the high school cumulative grade point average.

4-YEAR VALUEup to $60,000

PRESIDENT’S SCHOLARSHIP

The President’s Scholarship is awarded based on SAT or ACT scores and the high school cumulative grade point average.

4-YEAR VALUEup to $56,000

DEAN’S SCHOLARSHIP

The Dean’s Scholarship is awarded based on SAT or ACT scores and high school cumulative grade point average.

BELL TOWER SCHOLARSHIP

The Coker University Bell Tower Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit.

FOUNDER’S SCHOLARSHIP

The Coker University Founder’s Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit.

4-YEAR VALUEup to $30,000

TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP

The Transfer Scholarship is provided to transfer students and is based on the student’s previous cumulative grade point average.

4-YEAR VALUEup to $40,000

VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIP

The Departments of Art and the Departments of Dance, Music, and Theatre award scholarships to incoming students demonstrating talent within their major. These scholarships require auditions or portfolio reviews and could possibly require interviews.
