The Coker Society
Believe in What’s Possible
Every chapter in Coker’s history began with someone who believed in what was possible. Their vision helped shape a University where students discover their purpose, develop their talents, and lead lives of meaning and impact.
For generations, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends have invested in Coker because they believe in the power of education to transform lives. The Coker Society brings together those who continue that tradition by investing in students, expanding opportunities, and strengthening the Coker experience.
Every Generation Begins with Someone Who Believed
Every scholarship awarded.
Every mentor who inspires.
Every research opportunity.
Every athlete encouraged.
Every performance applauded.
Every experience at Kalmia Gardens.
Every graduate prepared to lead a life of purpose.
These experiences begin because someone chose to invest in Coker’s students.
Become Part of the Tradition
Membership in the Coker Society begins with annual gifts of $1,000 or more during the University’s fiscal year (July 1–June 30). Gifts may be made through a single contribution or multiple gifts throughout the year, and donors may direct their support to scholarships, academics, athletics, Kalmia Gardens, or any area of Coker that is meaningful to them. Many members choose to invest at even higher levels in support of the University.
Permanent membership is recognized for individuals whose lifetime cash giving exceeds $100,000.
*Eligibility for permanent membership is based on lifetime cash giving only. Pledges are not included.*

What Defines the Coker Society
The Coker Society is not defined by what its members give. It is defined by what they make possible.
