Margaret Kennedy Perrin, 91, widow of Thomas Russell Perrin, Sr., died Monday, May 01, 2017, at her residence. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Lake City Memorial Park, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton. Mrs. Perrin was born on June 30, 1925 in Florence County, daughter of the late Doyt W. and Nita W. Kennedy. She was a graduate of Coker University and the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Perrin was a lifelong member of Lake City Presbyterian Church and was a teacher for many years at Hebron Schools and The Carolina Academy. Later in life, she and her husband Tom were active in the Meals on Wheels program. She was known in the community for her love of caring for and sharing her roses. Surviving are her sister, Dottie Jones of Florence; nephews, Chuck (Margie) Jones of Florence and Kenneth (Lois Ann) Bowen of Lake City; and two special nieces, Robin (Dean) Brown and Georgia Perrin.
