Julia Martin Howell

Julia C. Howell, 69, of Cayce, SC, wife of Robin Howell went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. She was born on July 3, 1950 in Elizabeth City NC. to the late James E. Collier and Alice J. Hooper Collier. Julia went to Elizabeth City Pasquotank public schools as a child. She went to work in banking after high school at the age of 17. She studied Fine Arts at the College of The Albemarie, continuing her education at Coker College where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She worked for Southern First bank as a Mortgage Executive and then as a Mortgage Loan originator at Crescom Bank. She was a hard worker, sometimes working late into the night just to help people achieve their dream of a new home. She was highly respected in her field. Julia also loved to sing. She was choir member at Mt. Horeb Church of Lexington.
In addition to her loving husband she is survived by one son, Michael Pritchard and his wife Staci, both of West Columbia, SC. four sisters, Bonnie Collier, Connie Krist (Ernist), Tammy Fates (Charlie), Debbie Ball; and one brother Rob Tanner (Lori). Julia will be sadly missed by her fur babies, Ragnar, Kaleesa and Regan; and her three cats. In lieu of flowers, the family request you make donations to the Cancer Society or the ASPCA.
