Randy Strawser, a 1984 graduate of Coker University with a bachelor of science degree in physical education, was a four-year standout on the men’s soccer team.

Strawser served as captain all four years at Coker. Strawser was a three-time All-District Performer and an All-Region Player as a senior. Strawser was named Team MVP twice and Best Defensive Player during his four-year career.

Since graduating, Strawser received his master’s degree in health and physical education from Appalachian State University. Strawser began his coaching career at Mount Olive College in North Carolina.  He served as professor and assistant men’s soccer coach at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.  He has served as the women’s soccer coach and sports information director at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 2000.  He is married to Dianne Strawser and has four children (CJ, Mitchel, Elisha, and Jadon).
