Transfer Promise

START WITH YOUR ASSOCIATE DEGREE AND FINISH WITH YOUR BACHELOR’S IN JUST TWO YEARS. IF LIFE GETS IN THE WAY, WE’LL ENSURE YOU STILL EARN YOUR DEGREE.

During these unusual times and unprecedented hardships, Coker University wants to help you achieve your goals.

As a transfer student with an associate degree, Coker is committed to a two-year path to graduation. If life gets in the way and you’re unable to graduate in two years, Coker’s Transfer Promise means the university will support you through  scholarships covering up to two semesters of additional needed coursework* to ensure you graduate with your bachelor’s degree.

You will qualify if…

  • You have an associate degree from any accredited two-year institution
  • You are starting Coker University in summer 2020 or fall 2020
  • You attempt 30 hours per year at Coker and are in good academic standing
  • You meet virtually or in-person with your Coker University success coach once a month (during the academic year)
  • You meet once a semester with your faculty advisor

If you meet all of the above requirements and, for whatever reason, do not graduate in two years, Coker University will support you through  scholarships covering up to two semesters of additional needed coursework*.

*To be eligible for a Transfer Promise award, you must file a FAFSA. Coker will offer scholarships covering any additional costs after federal, state, and previously awarded institutional aid is applied.
