Summer Musical Theatre Intensive

At the Coker University Summer Musical Theatre Summer Intensive, expect to explore and grow as an artist through a diverse curriculum of acting, musical theatre history and appreciation, private voice instruction, ensemble and choral singing, dance classes, and role preparation. The week will culminate in a final performance of solos, duets, ensemble and dance numbers, and scenes.
You will hone your craft under the tutelage of Coker’s accomplished theatre, music, and dance faculty. Be prepared for your next big audition or performance through instruction in vocal technique, various styles of performance practice from Golden Age to contemporary musical theatre, monologue and audition preparation, résumé building, text analysis, musical theater and jazz dance classes, movement, and more. Appropriate for high school and college students.

- Pay your $30 application fee. After submitting your application, you will receive a link to pay your application fee.
- Application Fee: $30
- Early Tuition: $350 (by February 29th)
- Regular Tuition Fee: $400
- Late Tuition Fee: $450 (After May 1st)
- Housing: $250 (Local commuter students pay registration and tuition only.)
Full Tuition and Housing fees must be paid by June 1st.
