View our Active Case Report

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Coker has focused on the health and safety of our campus community while continuing to offer the high quality academic experience that our students expect.

  • Coker plans to hold all in-person classes and will continue to observe CDC and SC DHEC recommendations on classroom capacity.
  • Masking requirements and physical distancing will be in place as long as recommended by CDC and Herd Immunity is not reached.
  • Gators and bandanas  are not permitted to serve as facemasks on campus.
  • Coker will follow all CDC, SCDHEC, and local protocols when reviewing community service and internship opportunities.
  • Face masks must cover the nose and mouth at all times.  Gators are not approved facemasks on Coker’s campus.  Please see the CDC guidelines for how to properly wear a facemask.
  • CDC Guidance for Higher Education

100% Vaccination Rate

The only sure way to return to the typical college experience is if all students, faculty, and staff are vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus.  A 100% vaccination rate allows for us to return to pre-pandemic guidelines.  If a person has a bona fide religious or medical exception, the person will need to provide information that states the reason and supporting documentation.  A committee will review the requests and consider religions with documented objections to vaccination, as well as the individuals vaccination history.

  • Covid guest restrictions lifted
  • Full capacity at events
  • Full capacity in the Dining Hall, WOW, We Proudly Serve, public spaces

  • Unvaccinated Coker employees will need to email their results to  hr.document@coker.edu
  • Covid-19 testing results must be uploaded weekly by 12:00 pm on each Friday.
