“When I visited Coker in 2014, I instantly fell in love with the community. Specifically, I appreciated the college’s emphasis on relationships between students, faculty, and staff. The intimate nature of the Coker community creates a climate that encourages mentorship between faculty and students. This ability to directly impact a student’s future is both what sold me on Coker and what keeps me coming back. At Coker, I have the ability to make a difference.”

Research: I have a wide range of research interests. My current work examines the relationship between racial groups and firearm ownership. I am in the early stages of a project analyzing the presentation of racial and gender groups in gaming.
