“The most exciting aspect about working at Coker is getting to work with all of the brass students. The brass studio is small enough that I get to teach all instruments, which has allowed me to discover a love for the low brass. I am a trained horn player and have performed with over a dozen professional orchestras, but it has been a thrill to start performing and teaching low brass instruments as well as high brass…If you enjoy a small town atmosphere and a smaller student to teacher ratio then Coker University may be just the school for you. My classes are very small, so I get to know my students well. This is one of the advantages to studying at Coker.”
