“I served Coker for 27 years from 1984 until 2011. I was chair of education for the first 15 years and was instrumental in starting what is now known as the Adult Degree Program on the Coker campus in 1985. My specialty was teaching courses on how to teach mathematics and science. I was also responsible for the Introduction to Education course, and a course on Teaching About the Holocaust.”

I am one of four co-authors of Real Math, an elementary and middle school mathematics curriculum published by Open Court and later by the SRA Division of McGraw- Hill. I also one of three co- authors of Real Science, an elementary school curriculum published by McGraw-Hill.
