Pell Grant is free aid based on student need determined by the FAFSA. Awards are available in amounts up to $5,775 per year. There is a six year lifetime limit on Pell.
SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT PROGRAMS
Coker College’s Achievement Scholarship will provide up to $2,000 per year toward an Adult Degree Program student’s bachelor’s degree. Recipients will be awarded a scholarship worth $500 – $2,000 yearly, renewable for up to 3 years of coursework either online or at one of Coker’s 3 campus locations.
If you graduated with an associate’s degree from Florence-Darlington Technical College then you may be eligible for the ADP Achievement Scholarship.

SC TUITION GRANT
SC Tuition Grant is free aid from the state of SC. To be eligible, a student must be a SC resident, complete a FAFSA prior to June 30th each year, and enroll full-time each year. Awards are partially need-based and are disbursed twice per year. Awards are available in amounts up to $3,100 per year.
LIFE Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship available to students who meet the requirements set by the SC Commission on Higher Education. AID FROM PRIVATE SOURCES
Grants, scholarships, and loans may be available from your employer, local businesses, church and religious organizations, civic organizations, banks, finance companies, and other sources. Some public libraries can provide information on these possibilities. The Office of Student Financial Planning has information about student loans available from various lenders.
