What is WRITE ON!?

WRITE ON! is Coker College's campus-wide effort to make every student a better writer.

How will WRITE ON! be accomplished?

WRITE ON! will include more teaching and tutoring of writing, training for faculty in all subject areas on how to best teach writing,
and cooperation with public schools to learn how high schools teach writing.

What will WRITE ON! mean to Coker students?

• Coker students will have more opportunities to write and to learn better writing skills in nearly all classes.
• The Writing Center will have expanded services, including well-trained student tutors to help with writing for courses and writing for pleasure.
• There will be new and exciting opportunities for Coker students to publicly present their writing and to be recognized for exceptional writing.

How will WRITE ON! help Coker students?

Better writing skills will help Coker students to be more successful both professionally and personally in college and beyond. Coker graduates will have the ability to communicate effectively and will be perceived as well educated.
