| POSITION SUMMARY |
|
Brief Description of Duties:
- Assist with preparation and take-down of labs
- Maintain a cleanly lab space
- Care of living organisms in the lab (fish and invertebrates)
- Participate in field research
- Maintain and update a manual for Ecology Laboratory Assistants
- Other duties assigned by the Biology or Science Departments
Hours: Flexible/Negotiable
Details:
- Work is indoors and outdoors, days and evenings, weekdays and weekends, on and off campus, casual dress, and protective equipment
- Work duties may include laboratory work, field research, and dealing with the public
- Confidentiality is enforced
Potential Risks to Students:
- Dangers which may arise from working in laboratory and field settings, dealing with chemicals, dealing with animals
