| POSITION SUMMARY |
|
Brief Description of Duties:
- Operate scoreboard and retrieve foul balls during home games
- Serve as official scorer and keep stats for the season
- Handle, clean, maintain and inventory baseball equipment
- Launder uniforms
- Pick up sack lunches for away games
- Run errands for Baseball Coach and Athletic Department
- Light clerical tasks: photocopy, file, bind and/or staple materials, assist with various mailings, collect and distribute mail
- Clean Baseball Office on periodic basis
- Serve as host to Baseball recruits
- Perform various field work tasks: mow, edge, weed, trim, clip, transfer soil, hoe and drag field, set-up and take-down field, clean restrooms
- Other duties assigned by Baseball Coach or Athletic Department
Hours: : Flexible/Negotiable
Details:
- Work is primarily indoors and outdoors, days and evenings, weekdays and weekends, on-campus and off-campus, and casual dress
- If student is a member of the Baseball team, student cannot be paid during game times
- Confidentiality is enforced
Potential Risks to Students:
- Potential hazards associated with light lifting, outdoor work, and use of maintenance equipment
