| POSITION SUMMARY |
|
Brief Description of Duties:
- Assist with maintaining the garden: planting, weeding, pruning, cutting grass, putting chips on the trails, cleaning of facilities, power washing of walks.
- Other duties assigned by Kalmia Gardens Director
Hours: Flexible/Negotiable; Garden Hours are from 7am-4pm
Details:
- Work is primarily outdoors, weekdays, off-campus, and casual dress
- Work may include lifting up to 50 pounds and dealing with the public
- Position is community service, off-campus site
- Confidentiality is enforced
Potential Risks to Students:
- Lifting up to 80 pounds, possible hazards associated with working outdoors
