| POSITION SUMMARY |
|
Brief Description of Duties:
- Monitor all tangible Commissioner activities, including goal setting, visits to residents’’ rooms, tutor lists, bulletin boards, etc.
- Meet with the Commissioner staff on a weekly basis in order to update records and give reports on the Commissioners’ progress
- Serve as activities liaison to the Commissioner program: will need to know presidents of all Coker College organizations, meet regularly with CCU and SGA advisors, know how new freshman can join each group, call group presidents on behalf of students
- Participate in Commissioner training
- Track freshman activities: Keep database containing names of all freshmen and the activities each is involved in
- Meet with Assistant Dean of Student Services weekly to report progress of Commissioners and freshmen
- Other duties assigned by the Assistant Dean of Student Services or Residence Hall Director
Hours: Flexible/Negotiable
Details:
- Work is primarily indoors, weekdays, on-campus, and casual dress
- Work may include multi-line telephone use, typing, filing, photocopying, data entry
- Confidentiality is enforced
