Required Disclosure for Students, Faculty & Staff
Most Coker College Academic and Student policies can be found in the Academic Catalog (PDF) and Student Handbook (PDF) located on the Coker College Web site (www.coker.edu).
The Academic Catalog is located on the Academic Programs & Calendars and the Office of the Registrar sections of at www.coker.edu. The Student Handbook is located in the Campus Life section of www.coker.edu.
If you have a problem with accessing the website or reading information on a computer, then you may request a hard copy of any information in the Student Handbook by calling the Office of Student Services at 843-383-8035 or 800-571-7407. Question regarding the Academic Catalog should be made to the Registrar's Office at 843-383-8022 or toll free at 800-571-7320.
Coker College is officially notifying you that the following are contained in the Student Handbook:

The policies and procedures related to harassment and reporting/addressing
any grievance or appeal.

The Coker College Alcohol and Drug Policy.

The Campus Security Report (CSR) for the three most recent calendar years. Crime statistics, including alcohol and drug offenses, are reported that occurred on campus, in or on certain non-campus buildings or property, or on public property that is within the campus or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

The Coker Student Covenant, all Judicial Policies and Procedures, and the Academic Dishonesty Policy.

All withdrawal procedures, refund policies, and grade appeal procedures.

Your rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

All Housing and Residence Life policies.

Emergency Plans and Communication.

Graduation rates are available upon request from the Student Services Office.
Important Items of Interest:

All on-campus parking regulations can be found on the Parking Regulations Flyer and is available at the Campus Post Office.

Beepers, cell phones, and pagers must be turned off prior to attending class.

Family members or children should not be brought to class nor left unattended in any building on campus.

Policies regarding visitors and guests on campus are listed in the Student Handbook.

Most communication from the College to you will be through your Coker College email address and through campus mail or your Program Coordinator for off campus evening students. You should check your email and campus box daily to keep up with important information. For questions about your email account, contact the Information Technology Department at 383-8086 or email support@coker.edu.
Student-Athletes:
You are also responsible for understanding the rules and regulations outlined in the Student-Athlete Handbook (PDF). Individual sports/coaches may have additional rules and regulations that I will be responsible to follow. This handbook is also located on the Coker Cobras Athletics website.
Lake City, Mullins and NETC-Cheraw Students:
You should park only in approved spaces at your location.
