Coker Singers

The Coker Singers, founded in 1908, is a select group of singers comprised of music majors, musical theater majors, minors and students at large. The choir gives about 20 performances a year as the official choral performing organization of Coker College. Recent tours have taken the choir to New York City, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, and throughout North and South Carolina. This fall the group performed as the featured college choir at the Fall Conference of the state American Choral Director's Association and also performed a well-received, traditional Choral Evensong at St. Bartholomew's Church. Their recent tour in South Carolina to Myrtle Beach, Charelston, Orangeburg, and Columbia was well-received by enthusiastic audiences.
