Research Background
My research background includes areas of genetics, molecular biology, fungal biology, plant pathology, and microbiology.  My colleagues and I have initiated Coker’s Bioremediation Center, where students conduct research on microbes that have the potential to help clean up harmful pollutants in the environment, including diesel fuel and microplastics.

Favorite Thing about being a Cobra
The opportunity to engage bright and curious students on such a beautiful campus nestled in a community surrounded by natural beauty is my favorite thing about being a Cobra.

Be part of our community, as we work together to learn, lead, and inspire.
