Coker College Yellow Ribbon GI Bill

Harsville, S.C. — Coker College is joining forces with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to provide a $5,000 scholarship to qualifying veterans under the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program). In some cases, this will allow qualifying Post-9/11 veterans to attend Coker College for free.

The $5,000 scholarship program begins with the 2009-2010 academic year. The Yellow Ribbon Program is for veterans who have served 36 months of active duty. It is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.
