College Dance Seniors Showcase
New Work at Spring Concert For more information, contact James Jolly, director of marketing and communications, 843.383.8018 Hartsville, S.C. — Coker College Dance presents its annual spring concert showcasing choreography by seniors on Thursday, April 12 to Saturday, April 14 at 8 p.m. in the Watson Theater of the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center. Admission at the door is $5 and free with Coker College ID. The concert is the senior thesis for dance majors Rezenkia Snipe, Heather Watkins, Jaclyn O’Toole, Shante McDougald, and Amanda Wright. Their original choreographic works will be performed to music ranging from Louie Armstrong and Snoop Dogg to Evanescence and the Dixie Chicks. “The variety of dance styles and choreography is very engaging,” said Wanda K.W. Ebright, associate professor of dance. “This concert is the culmination of years of dance study and performance for the seniors.” In addition to the seniors, Coker students performing in the spring dance concert are: Camia Green, Madison Stump, Brittany Caldwell, Jamie Cranford, LeNora Hickman, Angel Earley, Elsie Mufuka, Alyssa Richard, Shakira Johnson, Delcina Butler, Martell Bivings Tabitha Quick, Stacie Fields, Mariya Colwell-LaFleur, Jessica Vause, Anna Lippard, Corinne Musgrove, Janine Spevack, Paige ManWaring, and Corinne Sutton. -30- April 5, 2007 |
