To gain admission to the Master of Science in College Athletic Administration program, students must have earned a bachelor’s degree with an overall GPA of 2.85 (on a 4.0 scale) from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Additionally, students will be required to submit a portfolio of materials including the following:

• a copy of GRE scores from the “General Test,” taken no more than two years prior to the date of expected enrollment
• a copy of undergraduate transcripts
• a one page personal statement explaining educational and career goals
• a resume
• three letters of recommendation

Portfolios will be evaluated by members of the Graduate Advisory Committee. The applicant pool will be ranked, and those with the highest total scores will be admitted. The initial review of applicants will begin on March 1, 2012, and students will be notified regarding their status on March 3, 2012. Students accepted into the program will have until March 25, 2012, to accept the offer and submit their official transcripts and official GRE scores. Applications to the graduate school submitted after March 1 will continue to be evaluated, and students will be accepted into the program based on availability.
