Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan

  • Coker College and GSSM faculty, staff, and students may request any books or articles that Coker's library does not have.
  • It usually takes between 3 days and 2 weeks to receive materials.
  • DVDs, videocassettes, CDs and other non- print media are not available through interlibrary loan.
  • Please be advised that most schools will not lend books that are new to their collections, so it may take longer for us to find a school that will lend a new title.
  • Before submitting the Article Request Form please search Journal Finder to see if we have the article full-text online in one of our databases.
  • Before submitting the Book Request Form please look in the Online Catalog to see if we own the book. Then check PASCAL Delivers. You can request it yourself and have it in a few days, whereas other ILLs may take up to 2 weeks. (Book renewals may be possible if you contact Adrienne Rose BEFORE the due date.)
  • Patrons are responsible for all costs associated with any lost or damaged material.
Best of all ... it's free!

An email will be sent to YOUR COKER EMAIL account when your item arrives. If you don't check your Coker email regularly, you can always forward your Coker email to your preferred email address. This is important because articles and books will be held at the Circulation Desk for 4 days only.

Email Adrienne at arose@coker.edu or call 383-8193 or 383-8125 if you have any questions about renewals or any other interlibrary loan issues.
