The performance will include “Sonata in D Major Hob. 37” by Franz Joseph Haydn, “Three of the Visions Fugitives” by Sergei Prokofiev and “Prelude” and “Clair de Lune” from “Suite Bergamasque” by Claude Debussy. “Music wasn’t a passion of mine until I came to Coker College, and that’s when I fell in love with it,” said Sears. “This junior recital is the highlight of my year; I’m excited to perform for family, friends, faculty and whoever comes out to hear the music.” A music major from Macomb, Mich., Lotan is president of the Residence Hall Association and activities manager of Coker Singers. Lotan has performed in Coker’s production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” and has assisted with the summertime Coker College performing arts camp. A music major from Columbia, S.C., Sears has assisted with various productions including the Coker Christmas Festival and the All-Steinway Initiative Gala.
