For more information contact Christian Stryker 843.383.8068 HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Mark Glantz to the Communications Department as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication. Dr. Glantz comes to Coker from the University of Missouri where he was a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Communication. He was recently awarded his Ph. D. in communication. Dr. Glantz completed his dissertation on “Negative Political Advertising and the Change of Inconsistency: The Rhetoric of ‘Flip-Flop’ Arguments”. A member of the National Communication Association, the Media Ecology Association and the Rhetoric Society of America, Dr. Glantz has made more than 27 academic presentations in addition to teaching five courses during his time at the University of Missouri. A native of Perth, New York, Dr. Glantz received his Masters of Arts in Communications from the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Brockport and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from SUNY College of Oneonta. ------------------------------------------------------- Founded in 1908, Coker College is an independent, comprehensive college with a liberal arts core required of all students.
