Known as “Pianist to the Presidents,” Osborne has performed at The White House for Presidents Carter, Bush, Reagan, Clinton, and Obama. His musical repertoire includes romantic, classical, jazz, inspirational, and Broadway standards. Osborne is also the pianist at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. A Steinway artist, Osborne’s 24 CDs on the North Star Music label have sold more than 7 million copies and he is considered the country’s leading romantic piano recording artists. His most recent CD is 2010’s “What a Wonderful World.” At the Bellagio, Osborne is a main attraction at the Petrossian Bar and The Baccarat Bar. He was previously a fixture at Caesar’s Palace on the Vegas Strip for 12 years. Osborne has local ties through a friendship with Hartsville accountant Tommy Goodson. “David is an amazing and versatile entertainer,” said Goodson. “Anyone who saw his concert at Coker College last September can tell you that he really knows how to wow an audience. A David Osborne concert is a memorable experience.” Osborne tours throughout the United States and has performed for a wide range of international dignitaries and celebrities. His recent concerts include the Steinway and Sons International Convention in Beverly Hills and on the Steinway and Sons Legendary Instruments of the Immortals Tour where he played on pianos belonging to Gershwin, Van Cliburn and Horowitz. Tickets for the David Osborne concert at Coker College are $35 for general admission. A special $60 ticket includes orchestra seating and admittance to an after-hours party with Osborne at Prestwood Country Club in Hartsville. Tickets are available in advance at Black Creek Arts Council, Burry Bookstore, the office of Thomas E. Goodson, or by calling 843-332-1327. Tickets will also be available at the door. Tickets for the after-hours party need to be purchased in advance. Proceeds of the concert will benefit Coker College’s Annual Scholarship Fund and the Prestwood Country Club Renovation Fund. -30-
