| Coker Music Presents Guest Piano Recital |

A professor of piano and piano pedagogy, Price has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. His work with autistic students has been featured on NBC’s Dateline and at national piano conventions. A 2009 Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Fellow, Price is also the founder and editor-in-chief of “Piano Pedagogy Forum,” the online piano pedagogy journal. He has recorded 33 compact discs of educational piano music for Alfred Publishing Company, and he has published educational compositions. Price received his doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, his master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University.

Hartsville, S.C. — Coker College Music presents a guest piano recital by Dr. Scott Price of the University of South Carolina on Tuesday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Watson Theater in the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center. Price will perform selected works by works by Chopin, Satie, Mozart, and Schumann. Admission is free.
