At Coker, it is our belief that students should be active participants in their own education. Therefore, the Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) includes internship and study abroad programs that focus on enhancing the learning of each student by guaranteeing them the opportunity to participate in experiential programs. Coker is also committed to community service/service learning. Students are made aware of and exposed to the benefits of volunteerism throughout their college career. It is through these real world experiences and practical application that Coker College students are prepared to become engaged citizens in their communities and the world at large.
