Misty Pitts Campus Life Assistant

Misty joined the Campus Life Staff in Spring 2007.. She loves to travel and meet new people. It comes from being an “Air Force Brat” and Navy Wife. She has lived in GA, CA, TN, Germany, NC, SC, FL and HI but has lived the last 10 years in Hartsville with her husband and now teenage daughter along with 2 dogs. She has a BS in Computer Science from the College of Charleston. She is very excited to be a part of the Coker College family.

Thomas Baker Coordinator of Wellness and Intramurals

Thomas joined Campus Life in January 2008 as Intramurals and Wellness Coordinator. Thomas is a native of Fayetteville, NC, and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he received a B.S. with honors in Exercise in Sports Science. Thomas also serves as the coach of Coker's Men's Golf team.

Erin Perna Director of Student Activities and Leadership

Erin recently moved to South Carolina to join Coker College as the Director of Student Activities and Leadership. She is originally from New York where she received a B.A. in Sociology from SUNY Cortland and is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. She is happy to become a member of Student Services team and is looking forward to creating exciting and fun activities for Coker students.

Jon Driggers Director of Campus Life

Jon Driggers joined Campus Life team as Director of Campus Life in August 2005. His primary responsibility is supervising Campus Life which encompasses Residence Life, Student Activities, Leadership Development, Intramurals and Judicial matters. He is also teaches Coker 101 and 199. Jon is a native of Aiken, South Carolina and attended Lander University (B.S.) and Appalachian State University (M.A.).

John Johnson Director of Residence Life

John Johnson joined the Campus Life team as Director of Residence Life on June 30, 2004. His primary responsibility is supervising Residence Life which encompasses the day to day management of the residence halls, housing placement, serving as a Judicial Hearing Officer, and assisting the Director of Campus Life as needed. He is also responsible for the recruitment, training, and evaluation of all Residence Life Staff. John is a native of Lenoir City, Tennessee. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Academic Concentration and Sociology, Criminal Justice Concentration, as well as a Master of Science in College Student Personnel; both degrees are from the University of Tennessee

Katie DiSimoni Assistant Director of Residence Life & Coordinator of First Year Programs

Katie comes to Coker College from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a BA in History and a concentration in Art. She is the Assistant Director of Residence Life and Coordinator of First Year Programming. She is pursuing a Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from University of South Carolina, Columbia. Although Katie has done a fair amount of traveling around the United States, she considers Texas home, and is excited to be heading back to warmer weather.
