To ensure that treatment for accident or illness is readily available, resident students must adhere to the following requirements:

1. Have a Coker College Medical Profile completed and on file with the College Nurse prior to moving into the residence halls. Failure to file the form may result in denial of housing, fines or cancellation of registration. Click on the New Residential Student Medical Profile link below.

2. All residential students are required to purchase Section I of the school sponsored Markel Insurance policy. Section II is automatically billed and will be removed only by providing evidence of other health and accident insurance. Information on waiving Section II will be sent in the summer mailing.

3. Services of the College nurse are included in room cost. Referral to contracted physicians require the student to pay a co-payment. Filing of claims is the responsibility of the student.
