Belk Hall is a sophomore residence hall that houses approximately 43 students in a suite-style capacity. Bedroom sizes are typically 12’ x 18’. Belk Hall is part of the largest combined living area on campus. Belk, Memorial, Coker and Grannis are part of one building that also houses the Cobra Den and the Dining Hall.
What students say about Belk: “I live in the World Scholars residence hall, which has very large rooms. The halls are usually quiet and peaceful, which is good for studying. Our floors have silent study hall, dinners and movies. World Scholars are required to be involved with their hall. This is a learning environment as well as a dorm and has helped me make many new friends. Belk is a nice and affordable place to live, and it’s conveniently close to all my classes.” –Miranda Smith, sophomore in Belk
