Richard G. and Tuck A. Coker Residence Hall RTC opened in 1988 to accomodate students of the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics, which was housed on Coker's campus until fall 2003. RTC is named for a grandson of the College's founder and his wife. Coker students now call the RTC home, which is centrally located between Memorial Residence Hall and the James Lide Coker III Memorial Library. RTC also features meeting and activity rooms on the ground floor.
