Cobras Dominate In 6-0 Win
Columbia, SC – The Coker women’s collegiate soccer team won its second straight in impressive fashion defeating Columbia College 6-0 Tuesday afternoon. The Cobras improve to 5-2 on the young season.
Freshman Andrea Bustamante started the Cobra onslaught by scoring her first of two goals. Classmate and leading scorer Megan Shaver followed Bustamante with two tallies of her own. Freshman Rose Fernandez and junior Terie Watkins each added their second goals of the campaign. Sophomore Jacque Stewart earned her third shutout of the season in the win.
Shaver now has 11 goals, while Bustamante has recorded six.
Coker will play host to CVAC rival Anderson College Friday, October 3, at 7:00 PM in their annual homecoming match.
