Cobras Lose Fourth Straight
CHARLOTTE, NC – Coker’s losing streak reached four straight Monday night in a non-conference defeat at Newberry College in women’s collegiate volleyball. The Cobras improved over their prior three defeats but still lost in straight sets 30-25, 30-20, and 30-23. The Cobras fall to 8-9 on the year while the Indians improve to 9-12.
Sophomore Andrea Manuel led the Cobras with seven kills, 26 digs, and 3 block assists. Freshmen Tara Nelson contributed 27 assists, and 15 digs. Senior Selena Davis added eight kills, 10 digs, three blocks solo, and two block assists.
Coker is right back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7th at Queens University of Charlotte. Action is set to begin at 6:30 P.M.
