Cobras Win Fifth Straight Match
TIGERVILLE, SC – Coker stretched its winning streak to five matches with a 3-0 sweep of North Greenville College Monday night in women’s collegiate volleyball. The Cobras have won 10 straight sets during their streak and improve to 7-3 on the year.
Coker defeated the Crusaders 30-18, 30-18, and 30-13 behind the leadership of senior Selena Davis and sophomore Andrea Manuel. Davis finished with nine kills, 11 digs and three block assists, while Manuel contributed seven kills, 18 digs and three aces. Freshman setter Tara Nelson racked up 28 kills to go along with three kills and nine digs.
Coker will return to conference play this Wednesday, September 24, against St. Andrews at 6:30 PM.
