Cobras Take Second Straight With 3-0 Win

HARTSVILLE, SC – Coker stretched its winning streak to two matches with a 3-0 sweep of North Greenville College Friday night in women’s collegiate volleyball.  Coker grasped the momentum early and never looked back in route to its 10th victory of the season.  The Cobras improve to 10-16 on the year with the win.

Coker defeated the Crusaders 30-16, 30-26, and 30-17 behind the leadership of senior Selena Davis sophomore Andrea Manuel.  Davis finished with 12 kills, eight digs and four blocks solo, while Manuel contributed 12 kills, 11 digs and five service aces.  Freshman setter Tara Nelson racked up 31 assists to go along with four kills and five digs.  Senior Lindsey Bocskay added 10 kills for the Cobras

Coker is right back in action tomorrow, Saturday, September 25th, when they host Columbia College.  Action is set to begin at 1:00 P.M.
