Cobras Overpowered By Mt. Olive

HARTSVILLE, SC – The Coker College volleyball team lost in straight sets to Mt. Olive Tuesday night in women’s collegiate volleyball.  The Cobras were overpowered by the aggressive attack of the Trojans and were unable to establish a rhythm.  Coker drops to 8-6 on the season, 2-6 in the CVAC.  Mt. Olive improves to 16-4 and 11-1 in conference.   

Freshman Tara Nelson paced the Cobras with 16 assists and 10 digs.  Sophomore Andrea Manuel had 4 kills and 10 digs.  Freshman Courtney Barton and senior Frederica McClary each contributed four kills.

Coker will try to rebound Thursday when they host Converse.  This homecoming event is set to begin at 6:30 P.M.
