Cobras Earn Important Conference Win

GAFFNEY, SC – Coker got back on track Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 sweep at Limestone College.  With the CVAC win, the Cobras improve to 8-5 on the year and 2-5 in the conference.  The Saints drop to 3-9 on the season and 0-9 in the CVAC.

Coker won the match with set wins of 30-25, 30-25, and 30-18, their fourth straight-sets win of the season.  Sophomore Andrea Manuel led the way with 12 kills, six service aces and eight digs.  Senior Selena Davis tallied seven kills, two blocks solo and six digs, and freshman Tara Nelson finished with 38 assists and 12 digs. 

Coker returns to action Tuesday night with a home match against CVAC rival Mt. Olive, at 6:30 PM.
