Cobra Winning Streak Reaches Three
HARTSVILLE, SC – Coker won for the third consecutive time Saturday, sweeping Columbia College 3-0 in women's collegiate volleyball. The Cobras improve to 11-16 on the season while the Koalas drop to 10-13. Coker dominated from start to finish and won in straight sets, 30-24, 30-20, and 30-18.
Seniors Selena Davis and Frederica McClary led the Cobra onslaught with nine kills and eight digs a piece. Sophomore Andrea Manuel contributed 14 kills, 12 digs and a service ace. Freshman setter Tara Nelson racked up 36 assists to go along with three kills and 17 digs, and two block assists. Senior Jessica McKee added 19 digs for the Cobras
Coker returns to action Tuesday, October 28th, when they host conference rival Belmont Abbey College. Game time is set for 6:30 PM.
