Cobras Ace Their Way To Victory

COLUMBIA, SC – Coker overpowered hosts Allen University in a 3-0 win Wednesday night in collegiate volleyball.  The Jackets had no answer for the Cobras serving, leading to a quick match.  CC snapped a losing skid with the win and improves to 9-16 on the year. 

Coker served 36 aces in the match, led by sophomore Andrea Manuel’s nine.  Manuel also led the team with eight kills.  Freshman Courtney Barton finished with six kills, five aces, and five digs, while classmate Tara Nelson tallied 30 assists, eight aces, and four digs.  Senior Selena Davis added a team-high nine digs.

The Cobras host North Greenville College this Friday night, October 24, at 6:30 PM.
