Cobras Win Final Home Match 

Hartsville, SC – The Coker College volleyball team went out in style Friday night sweeping Anderson College 3-0 on senior night.  The Cobras improve to 13-17 and 4-12 in the CVAC while the Trojans slip to 13-17 and 8-8 in conference. 

 Coker was determined to end their regular season on a high note diving aggressively for balls and working hard for every point.  The Cobras went on to win the first set 30-21 and never looked back winning the final two sets 30-27 and 30-23.

 Senior Selena Davis led the Cobras with eight kills, 10 digs, three block assists, and two blocks solo.  Classmate Frederica McClary mustered nine digs to go along with seven kills.  Lindsey Bocskay, also representing the senior class, blasted six service aces while freshmen setter Tara Nelson contributed 32 assists, 11 digs, five kills, and two block assists.  Sophomore Andrea Manuel chipped in 10 kills to go along with 13 digs.

Coker next plays in the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference Tournament.  Dates and times as of now are TBA.
