Chuck Mullen took over as head coach of volleyball program at Coker in July of 2004.  Mullen comes to Coker from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he was the top assistant coach on the volleyball team for the past six seasons.  Mullen graduated from IUP with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Sport and earned Master of Science degree in Sport Sciences.

    During Mullen’s time at IUP the Indians went 137-64, won a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship, and qualified for the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Playoffs.  Mullen helped coach eight All-Conference and Region honorees and one All-American.

    As an assistant Mullen’s duties included assisting in daily practice planning, breakdown of game tape, developing match strategies, and led the off-season skill development and workout program.  While a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Mullen also helped organize a men’s club volleyball team which he competed with intercollegiately.
