Runners Compete At CVAC Finals

Anderson, SC – The Coker College cross country teams ran at the CVAC Championships Friday morning, hosted by Anderson College.  The Cobra men finished fourth out of ten teams but the women, missing freshman Angela Gerkin, did not score. Sophomore David Green (left) finished seventh on the men's side running a 28:07 8K while senior Christina Grivetti (right) placed sixth with a 20:53 in the 5K.

Hartsville, SC- Senior Christina Grivetti ran a season best 20:05 to lead the women's cross country team in Saturday's Cobra Invitational.  She has proven to be the top runner on the women's side turning in consistent top five performances.  Sophomore David Green ran a 16:49 5K to finish fourth overall for the men. 

 

Cobras Compete At UNC-P

Hartsville, SCThe Coker College cross country teams ran at the UNC-Pembroke Invitational Saturday afternoon with the men placing fourth and the women finishing in third.  David Green led the men with a time of 28:28, and Cristina Grivetti led the women with a 20:52 finish.

 

Gerken Named CVAC ROW

Hartsville, SCAngela Gerken of Coker College has been selected as the NCAA Division II Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) women’s cross country Runner of the Week. 

 

Cobras Show Well At Gamecock Invitational

Hartsville, SC – The Coker College cross country teams performed well among NCAA Division II teams in the Gamecock Invitational Friday night.  The men placed first among D II teams and the women finished second.
