Coker Sweeps Columbia College
COLUMBIA, SC – Coker got back on track Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory at Columbia College. The Cobras swept Columbia by scores of 30-27, 30-23, and 30-20. CC improves to 6-8 on the year.
Freshman Megan Haupt/Summerville, SC led the Cobras with 12 kills and junior Andrea Manuel/Spartanburg, SC finished with 11 kills and 14 digs. Freshman middle Margaret Madison/Savannah, GA collected six kills and three blocks and sophomore Tara Nelson/Rochester Hills, MI had 28 kills and 13 digs. Sophomore defensive specialist Ashley Schaum/Irmo, SC contributed 12 digs.
Coker will now prepare for a visit to Banner Elk, NC this weekend for the Lees-McRae Tournament on Friday and Saturday, October 8-9.
