Cobras Fall On The Road
Charlotte, NC -- Coker lost a tight match 2-0 at Queens College Wednesday night in women's collegiate soccer. The Cobras fall to 5-8-1, 2-5 in the conference.
Queens' Lindsay Thomas got a goal in the first and a goal in the second to put Coker away. QC out-shot the Cobras 21-7 and built a 12-1 advantage in corner kicks. Senior Amy Kessler played 74 minutes in goal with three saves. Junior Erin Boswell relieved Kessler and played the final 16 minutes without a save.
Coker plays a rescheduled game this Friday, October 19 at home against Mt. Olive at 7 PM.
