Cobras Defeated At Lander
Greenwood, SC -- Coker was defeated 4-0 in a non-conference match at Lander University in women's collegiate soccer. The Cobras drop to 4-7-1 overall while Lander improves to 5-7-1.
Lander got two goals in the first half and added two more in the second as the Cobras struggled to get any offense going. The Senators were able to neutralize Coker's Erin Blevins and Cara Wilkerson and controlled the match. LU outshot the Cobras 26-4 and led in corner kicks 9-0. Senior Amy Kessler started in goal and made seven saves on the night.
Coker will now face Columbia College at home on Monday, October 15 at 6 PM.
