Cobras Defeated 5-0 In Final Game Of The Season
Hartsville, SC
-- Coker was defeated 5-0 by CVAC leading Belmont-Abbey Friday evening in women's collegiate soccer. The Cobras complete the season with a record of 5-12-1, and 2-9 in the conference, while Abbey improves to 13-3-1 and 9-1-1 in the CVAC.The Crusaders scored early and often in the match, getting their first goal in the third minute from Natalie Monfils. Monfils went on to score two more for the hat trick while Belmont-Abbey's other two goals came from Shasta Walker and Michele Sander.
Senior Amy Kessler completed her career in goal for the Cobras with 11 saves in the match. The Crusaders held a 20-5 shot advantage and a 9-0 margin in corner kicks.
