Cobras Fall At Anderson
Anderson, SC - Coker dropped an 80-65 decision at Anderson College Thursday night in women's collegiate basketball. The Cobras now stand at 2-15 overall and 2-10 in the CVAC, while the Trojans improve to10-8 and 9-3 in the conference.
The Cobras stayed close to Anderson throughout the game, never trailing by more than 12 until the final three minutes. Coker actually narrowed the gap to 58-54 with 6:16 to play but the Trojans responded with lay-up and a three-pointer that put the game away.
Sophomore Selena Davis led the Cobras with 13 points and was followed by classmate Sara Lauzze and junior Lou Brunson with 11 each.
Coker returns home this Saturday, February 2 to face Pfeiffer University at 5:30 PM.
